        Recently, Talia minulina, director of the investment and development agency of the Republic of Tatarstan, said intheinterview with the media during the St. Petersburg international economic forum that the factory of China Midea Groupwill be fully put into operation before 2023in the Republic of Tatarstan .     "Midea entered the Russian market with an investment of 1.1 billion rubles (about US $15.02 million)," she said. In 2023, their project in Tatarstan, a 24000 square meter factory in the special economic zone, will be fully launched, producing 200000 refrigerators and 125000 freezers a year. "     As we know, there are 16 companies founded by Chinese enterprises in the Republic of Tatarstan. Haier Group set uptherefrigerator factory here in 2016 and began to put into operation washing machine products in 2019. The news about Midea Group's plant construction in the Republic of Tatarstan was reported as early as November 2020.
